Laser Diodes: Sends light into the fiber-optic cable.
Fiber-Optic Cable: Contains core, cladding, and coating. Light travels through the doped fiber core made up of silica glass and coated with Ytterbium; due to the high refracted index of the core, electrons are excited, hence producing energy.
Stimulated Outflow: When an excited electron comes back to its original state, it releases a photon. It can stimulate additional electrons, which in turn release other photons, amplifying the energy.
Fiber Bragg Gratings: Mirrors installed at both ends of the fiber form an optical, allowing the light to bounce back and forth. It reflects a specific wavelength of light. It works by allowing you to select the type of wavelength you want inside the fiber core and can block specific wavelengths of light.
Collimating Lens: A collimating lens helps to generate a high beam of light. What it does is concentrate the beam onto the metal sheet for a specific position to target and cut the sheet.
